Where can a guy see great hometheater in K.C. area?

Welcome to KC - I'll be in Springfield later this week.
A couple that I'm familiar with are SoundFX & Audioport.
SoundFX is on Bellview, just west of the Plaza on the Missouri side of the state line. (816-753-7799) Rob carries Runco, Theta, NAD, etc. Small store, but great service.
Audioport is in Overland Park - I think it's in the Windmill Square shopping center, just across from Metcalf Mall. (913-341-2222). They are primarily a high end audio store, with a couple of rooms set up for theatre. The larger room has Runco + MartinLogans + Krell - awesome.
Have fun....and don't forget to pick up some BBQ.
