In my experience, you can't.


Last January I did find one Tower Records in Northridge that carried three titles at list price. Looking at these involved getting a manager who knew what I was talking about. Do not expect anyone to know what you are talking about. She then went into a store room to bring back the titles. When I was done she took the tapes back into the store room.

I bought some at Tower on Sunset. They really don't know what they have as they just display them as VHS tapes and the people that work there think that the D-Theater picture quality is far worse than a DVD. I tried explaining it to them, but they just got a glazed look on their faces and they probably think that I was crazy.

Tower Records has limited titles at various locations. I found some in Long Beach and Torrance.

Yes, I went to Tower Records in Long Beach today and they had

about 7 different DVHS titles for $34.95. I have looked for a while and

this is the ONLY place I have seen them.
