I'm looking at the sony 127x or 125x or the electro EPC 4500.

CRT's don't have a zoom adjustment like a digital do they? So placement vs. throw distance become critical. I'd like to get at least a 90" picture, but no more than ~ 110.....its going in a room thats only 12x11 with the 12ft distance being the max distance from the screen (of course I would still have to account for room around the projector and the projector itself)...so max throw distance is probably closer to 8?

what size screen would I be looking at here?

For sony 127x or 125x, the distance for an 80" WIDE screen is 109", 92= 124", 110 = 147"

Thats from lens to screen. Use the width to set your distance, and then adjust your vertical for aspect ratio. Most projectors will fall in the same general range. Look for PJcalc, do a search. I don't offhand have a download link.
