have you tried getting in touch with the original manufacturer?

The Polaroid Polaview 235 ( http://www.projectorcentral.com/proj...fm?part_id=459 ) was manufactured by Mitsubishi as the S120 ( http://www.projectorcentral.com/proj...fm?part_id=526 ).

The S120 uses the p/n X120REM remote control which can be ordered from Mitsubishi.

The user guide is at http://www.mitsubishi-presentations....nual/s120a.pdf

I would suspect a universal remote would be another way to do it, too.

BTW, I used Yahoo to get all this, but used "polaview" instead of "polaroid", which I learned from Polaroid's site where I searched for "235". :)

Your best bet is a universal remote, but I don't know which universals will have a code for this. I just checked the codes used by the three Mistubishi projectors in the Remote Central file section and 2 out of 3 of them used the same code, which is "Mistubishi, device 71". What that means is that anyone with a JP1 programmable remote could create an upgrade for it, but there wouldn't be a 100% guarantee that it would work.

If this sounds like something you want to pursue, drop me a line.
