One would think that the user manual would have these instructions, but I guess you are saying that the X1's doesn't. If Infocus has a support number I would call it and tell them that you want instructions on how to do this since they were not provided with the projector.

Where do you find instructions on cleaning & replacing lamp?
Have an X1. Where can I find instructions on how to clean it (if I have to) and most importantly, how to put a new bulb in? In about half a year, hundreds of people are going to ask this question.
