Where is the pioneer DV-696AV-K ?

I see that this player is available in the Uk. It was suppose to be available here in the states also. Anyone know anything about this player? Thanks

I heard it is supposed to be available next month here in the US.

It's not available here in the UK yet, btw. Will still be next month I'm told. The stripped down DV-490 might make it by this month, however.


Both will use the latest Mediatek chipset for just about everything, including upscaling to 720p/1080i and 480i via. HDMI.

Does anybody have a link to DV-696AV manual online? Or DV-490? Or even DV-393? I cant find any new series manuals. Trying to find out if these models can expand letterboxed picture, like Panasonic (Just Fit Zoom) or Samsung (EZ View).
