If only there were a worldwide network, possibly built from computers, that could be searched to find the lowest prices on goods and/or services, thereby lubricating the free market and providing said goods and services to consumers at the lowest price--I just hope I live long enough to see such a thing created.

I use http://www.salescircular.com/ all the time. They list what's on sale locally, not mail-order, but I'd rather take a drive and get it now than wait for UPS to show up.
