Where should I adjust video settings? DVD player or my projector?

Just got the Denon 2910. It's hooked up to my BenQ PE-8700 via DVI. Both devices allow me to adjust the picture quality (brightness, black level, contrast, etc). Where is the proper place to make these adjustments?
