Can someone recommend where to buy a Radeon 9000?

Actually, if you don't mind venturing into "powered by ATI" land... the Sapphire 9000 comes without a fan and only costs about $60. The latest catalyst drivers are the same for powered by and built by ATI radeon cards. I've been 100% happy with my (silent) sapphire radeon 9000.

May I ask why you say that?

Exactly which Saphire 9000 do you have Matt? There seem to be many that are almost alike. My main interest is to avoid the fan, but DVI and multiple monitor support also has some value to me.

Thanks,

It is the Atlantis, I believe. It's hard to say -- it just comes shipped in bubble wrap and acts like any other 9000 as far as I can tell. I am only using it for VGA->transcoder but it does have s-video and DVI out. I just have not used them.

Pricewatcher is nice, but not always up to date. I use pricegrabber as an alternative. This really helped with finding vendors for the 9500 pro (Pricewatch may be showing it as 128MB 9500 - but no mention of PRO in the catagories).
