Where to find MX 700 pc cable?

Hi.

I recently bought a used B&K Reference 50 pre-amp. It came with a pre-programmed MX-700. However, I did not get the PC cable. As a result, I have no way to add the other components of my system to the remote. Does anyone know where the pc cable could be purchased on it's own?

You can build one yourself using my instructions here .

You can buy one from URC by calling them at 914-835-4484 or buy a Tivo serial cable (same pin connections) here (don't know if they ship to Canada).

thanks for the info, but i think i might be missing something. i ordered the serial cable from tivo and it has a DB9 male ending. my laptop doesn't have a serial connection so i have been looking for a usb to serial adapter, but it seems those have a DB9 male end as well. am i just not finding the correct usb adapter? thanks.
