I am having a tough time finding a place to order any of the following:


OC QuietZone

TheaterShield

440 Homosote


Are there other materiels suitable for the standard HT wall setup?

Call around to your local insulation companies. If they carry Johns-Manville product, chances are good they can order TheaterShield Plus (TS+).


Instead of homosote, why not use the Celotex Sound Stop (sound board) that can be found at Home Depot?


Don't know anything about QuietZone. Did you search this forum for previous posts about it? If not, you should give it a try.

The QuietZone is a TheaterShield equiv to my knowledge. I will use either one but the QuietZone is supposedly cheaper but VERY hard to find.
