Just a casual observation, but I've only been noticing lots of chatter about Yamaha, Marantz, Denon mainly and a little bit of Pioneer, Sony, and Onkyo. What's the deal with NAD? Just nothing ground breaking in too long, or is there something I should be aware of? I used to love NAD equipment but haven't played with any of their products recently in all honesty. They sure do seem to have slipped under the radar lately.

They have a two cutting-edge (Hypex Ncore-based) amps, one 2-channel and one 7-channel. They have an interesting desktop amp (D 3020). Otherwise, not much of interest at NAD right now.

If it weren't for my continuing love affair with Class D amps, I'd probably buy a nice vintage NAD integrated or separates off Craigslist or eBay...have seen some real mouthwatering deals on them!

Go to advance search, title search only and use NAD as your search word for all the NAD related threads. Just because it's not on the front page, doesn't mean they aren't discussed

NAD is a great brand but they have to outsource their design and production. They have high standards but due to the outsourcing process they have a delay in getting to the market the latest features/technologies. Also they have a more, specialist oriented distribution system so their products are not widely sold through the internet...

Just my $0.02... ;)
