I am wrestling with adding a JVC X35 or Sony HW55ES. Have Benq W5000 as backup projector to Optoma HD3300. The 3300 throws a bright detailed 2D/3D picture. Will I see a large improvement in picture quality if I replace my BenQ with an X35 or HW55ES? Tried the BenQ 1070 but 3D gave me headaches, not so on the 3300.

Or should I wait a year for the 4K technology, when it becomes more affordable? Your insight is certainly welcome and valuable.

You will probably see a large improvement for 2D, but 3D may drive you crazy. Better keep your HD3300 just in case the "ghosting" from these non-DLP projectors leaves you completely disenchanted. If you have a low tolerance for X-talk then the JVC and Sony (and Epson for that matter) won't cut it.
