If you're only looking at DLP's, the consensus around here seems to be the Samsung HLS 87 or 88 models or the Mitsubishi 732 or 831. If you also are considering the SXRD technology, then you would be considering the Sony A2000 or XBR2, depending on your price point.


Which one of those three makers is the best? You can find about 3,000 pages of debate on the topic here. But most people agree that any one of the three is a winning choice.

Virtually all 2006 60" RPTVs accept 1080p input, except the Toshibas.

All of those TVs do 1080p over HDMI but the Samsung is the only one that does it over component (and VGA).
