I have the Samsung already and have till Jan. 25th to exchange it with no restocking fee. I really have liked the look of the Samsung picture quality in all the stores, but saw the Hitachi today and it is looking pretty nice as well.


What do you all think?

I would tell you to strongly consider the Philips 9631 or the Panasonic 6U/60U models. They were my finalists when I made my choice and each has tons of happy customers on this board (I went with the Philips).

I would take the Samsung or look into the Panasonic TH-42PX75U. Hitachi's are nice but there overall picture quality needs improvment. LOL

but with the date of this original post I think you are good.
