Panasonic are releasing thier first progressive DVD-Audio player in the UK in May. The DVD-S75EBS , can anyone tell me what de-interlacer Panasonic use and does it suffer the Chromer Bug, and can thier progressive players be modified for pal progressive playback?

Thanks.

I don't know for sure, but based on the description and appearance, I'd say it's probably using the same Panasonic all-in-one chip that's used in all their new players in the States. It does the deinterlacing, but it's not motion-adaptive and is inferior in that respect to previous models that used the Genesis/Faroudja chip. Look for threads on the S35 for more information on the new Pannys.
