Hello all, I'm getting ready to switch my OS to XP, and install the Theatertek player...but I'm wondering what is the best Radeon driver version to install for this setup? And do I install any of the ATI stuff like MMC or the DVD player? or is none of that needed with Theathertek player? Also, are people with AIW's using the onboard S/PDIF or one on their soundcards? Is there any differnce in performance/features/DTS? Thanks to all those who reply...didn't see anything in the archives about this combination of hardware/softwear recently....

Hi Cygnus,

Most customers are successfully using the 6025 drivers under XP. Other flavors including the released versions have had problems.

You do not need to install the MM software from ATI, just the drivers.

The SP/DIF output on the AIW card is not supported by TT, so a sound card with SP/DIF output needs to be installed.

Thanks Andrew, I'll give that a shot...but now I'm wondering, do I need to get that Hoontech add-on for my SB? I remember reading that the S/PDIF output on the SB's was not to spec...?
