My system has a SS drive for windows and other software apps. and conventional hard drives for storage of my music files.

Which drive do gamers normally download their games to?

I run games from my ssd..... just use platter drives for backup, music , pics...
As cheap as ssd's are getting for 500gig ....decent ones going for $100-120, I'm using
my ssd for current game installs.

I have a 250GB Samsung for OS and programs. I keep games I'm playing on the SSD and games I play less often on my 2TB HDD. I agree with Joe though and in the near future will end up eliminating my HDD and going all SSD.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll need to get a bigger SSD as my game collection grows. Right now I have a 120 GB, but only a couple of games.
