Hey all I have a harbor breeze ceiling fan with what I believe to be an RF remote.


Does anyone know if the harmony 890 will work with that? The website says the model # is compatible with harmony remote but doesn't specify which harmony remote.


Any advice?

No. No RF universal remote will control the Harbor Breeze fan (or any RF device). The RF remotes only use RF to communicate with their RF to IR base stations.


Some remotes can use Z-wave, such as the 890, but then you would need a Z-wave switch for the fan.
