I don't believe any Denon models below AVR-4306 have video upscaling feature.

The 2807 doesn't do scaling. It will convert 480i to 480p though. It simply passes through the video. It will convert analog sources to pass through HDMI.


I went with the 2807 due to the LFE issues that are happening with the HD DVD players using the Pioneer.
