I have both, Audio is good on both of them, the PQ is okay, nothing outstanding. Slane is more personal and less glitzy so I prefer that one out of the two.

I really like "Rattle and Hum". It's anomorphic widescreen and 5.1 DD.

I have slane. Great performances of Kite, Sunday Bloody Sunday, and Rattle and Hum (very emotional). I managed to pick up the slane one for $20 where the live in Boston one was nearly $35, so it was a no-brainer decision for me. I'll probably pick up the other one eventually.. :)

All three are great, you cannot go wrong with the U2 DVD's. They all get repeat viewings and listenings here. (As do Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, Peter Gabriel and Led Zeppelin DVD's)

That said, the lowest price of entry with U2 is likely to be the Slane Castle DVD. Slane is a single disc packaging (mine is a basic CD style jewel case).

On the other hand, the quality of the U2 Slane presentation is all there, including DTS as an audio option.
