I'm looking for a 40-55 inch LCD for living room. This LCD will be subject to a brighter viewing environment w/ some glare from a big living room window to a side. Its use will not involve gaming or PC usage. It will be just be for sports viewing and other general TV viewing. It won't immediately have a blu-ray player set up to it (have PS3 in other area of house with surround and HD,etc.), but at some point may for occasional movie viewing.


So I dont' need all the bells and whistles. Just a great picture. Don't want to break the bank either. Recommendations? I know plasma options well, but due to the viewing environment considering LCD this time.


In addition, the wife would really like it to go well with her blue/beige color scheme (whatever!)

Beige? Good luck. They are all black and shades of black. This one, I am with the wifey, comeon, they gotta hire more women designers, or a Steve Jobs.
