These sets are all comparable. It's a matter of subjective taste. Go view and buy what you feel is best.

I gotta say XBR4. I have it, and its flawless.

Have not encountered motion blur yet.

But go buy what you thinks best, dont listen to me.

I owned a W3000 for two weeks, and while the set was beautiful, I could not stand the motion blur. I returned it.


Lemt's link is a good one. Buy what you think is best.


No display created blur would be nice, but i personally am not willing to sacrifice the film look for no bluring.

i read theatermag and it seem the toshiba has the less motion blur. i think this is what i found after looking at all lcd tv in action or sport


anyway, after reading alot on thes forum it seem better to take the xbr4 over the w3000. w3000 seem to have a lot of motion blur. and i thought i seeing more smearing at best buy. ( when birds are flying in dark sky)


but i dont know between xbr4 and lx177.

I also had a W3000 and couldnt stand the smearing. I now have a Samsung LNT5271F and its great. Plus the automotion plus is a nice bonus feature (regardless of any "issues" it might have)

They all have it. Known problem, especially with Sony.
