Both are still having problems with S/PDIF. Win95? Half the HTPC SW wonâ€™t run on that ancient OS as well as some under Win 98. 98 SE/Millennium/2000 Pro SP2/XP Home/XP Pro were the proper solutions and if you do not have a purpose for the poll other than to find out which one you should use, why should anyone bother. Next time, please invest a bit of thought before creating a thread that adds little value for everyone else.
___Do you need DTS audio from an audio disc or interlaced custom timing and resolutions? If so, 98 SE or Millennium are the right choices. Do you want the NT Kernel while missing the features listed above? 2000 Pro or the XP variants are correct. XP has almost all of the multimedia capability of Millennium â€“ the features listed with the NT kernelâ€™s stability if that helps â€¦
