All are Samsung:

UN55FH6003F:

55" LED, 240 refresh, SRS TheaterSound, $699.99

UN46FH6030F:

46" LED, 240 refresh, SRS TheaterSound, 3d, $579.99

UN50EH5000F:

50" LED, 120 refresh,SRS TheaterSound HD, $599.99

Im looking for a new TV for my basement, the couch is about 9 ft away and the room has no windows, but 5 daylight lights that are pretty bright. The room itself is about 15' x 15'.

My general needs are a tv that has auto dim so it isnt too bright when lights are off but something bright enough when lights are on, has a decent size, and can be used for lots of gaming/movies/general watching. I dont need the 3d or wifi or anything, but if you have suggestions apart from these that include either, if it meets all else, its cool.

My max price would be the 699.99 and that means i have to sacrifice my budget on a sound system, so if you suggest any other tv's please be under or at 699.99.

For the viewing space and distance, do i need bigger than a 46? especially since it will be LED with a good picture, but i think at least 50 is needed.

Any opinions or experiences with these tvs would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Those TVs are going to perform similarly for the kinds of uses you describe. At nine-foot viewing distance you'd need a 84" screen to max out the detail you get from a good 1080p source. As a result, I'd prioritize screen size if I was in your shoes.
