Which Oppo DVD player would one use with a Sony KDSR-50XBR1 SXRD.

Would it be wise to get the DV-981HD or save some money and go with

the DV-970HD. Since my Sony will accept upto 1080i, but display native 1080p,

upconverting it itself, is there a need for the DV-981HD.


Also, if I was to get the DV-981HD would md be a problem.

I have not read about MB with the LCOS sets, but Oppo has a great return policy just in case. The 981 is a better player than the 970 (as long as you don't get MB) -- it has a better deinterlacer.
