Which Plasma's have connectors at bottom or left side?

344 Views 4 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  wmccullough
The subject says it all. I am looking to replace my 42MP3 that has all the connectors on the left side of the unit. This is the best place for the connectors with my arrangement. I see the new NEC's have the connectors on the right side, Booo!

Do the panny's have the connectors on the left side or bottom?

What about the Pioneers?

Any others?

Obviously I'm not gonna let this decide what I do but it may have some bearing if I have a hard time deciding between one model or another.

BTW- I am looking at both 42 and 50"

Thanks

Archie: Assume you mean left side while facing the plasma?? If so, the Panasonic 6UY series has the jacks located underneath. They can be on the left side, middle, or right side, depending on how you configure the slots (3). Robbie
My new Fujitsu has most of the the connectors pretty much in the center, about 2/3 of the way down from the top of the set, with the DVI and RGB plugs a little to the left of center (as you face the screen from the front (which would be the video equivlant of stage right)).
The Pioneer 503CMX has all the connectors on the bottom.
Samsung has all of the connectors on the bottom.
