Hi everyone

Need some help with setup.

New condo has the following:

2nd floor - 2 speakers over kitchen and 5.1 system in living area (open floor plan to kitchen)

Outdoor speakers - 2 on second floor deck and 2 on rooftop deck.

All wiring is to a central closet - cat6, speaker wires, internet, hdmi all there.

Basically, what I'd like to be able to do is use my iphone on my roof or my 2nd floor deck and listen to pandora through the speakers.

Inside, I'd like to be able to watch TV/5.1 OR listen to music from either the kitchen or 5.1 system through pandora. I cannot listen to one thing in the kitchen and another through the 5.1 as they are too close at it will sound like mush.

What I was thinking:::

2 multi zone receivers ($3-350 each)

1 7.2 for the 5.1 system and the kitchen speakers.

1 7.2 for the outdoor speakers (1 zone roof, 1 zone balcony)

Would this work??? Is there an easier/cheaper way????

Sonos?

Mine was a cheap solution to everything I needed. All run from my phone or iPad.

No need for receiver where listening is not critical. Sonos units can put out some very good sound.

For my outdoor speakers, I would need the sonos amp - $500 per set.

Not worth it for me.

or a used Zone Player 80(no power) ($100) and a cheap power or integrated amp.
