I have a Toshiba SD6200 with 4:4:4 Super ColorStream Pro Progressive processing connected to a Sharp Z10000 via component video.


Is it better to let the DVD process 480i to 480p and then let the PJ scale it to 720p or just output 480i and let the PJ do all of the scaling/processing?


Or not worry about it for now and get a DVI player with 720p output.

I also have a Sharp 10K, but I use a Samsung HD-931. Using the DVI output in 720p or 1080i will noticably improve the resolution.


I know there is alot of controversy about this DVD player, especially the audio, but it's easy to ignore all of that because the picture quality is so great.
