I am getting a Sony 60XBR950 and wanted to know what stand you guys are using, and if you are happy with it. The Sony stand (GW3) is $695 to $1,000!! It wouldn't be too bad, but once this tv is garbage, I have to throw the stand away as well b/c it has the cut out on the top surface. I would prefer an aftermarket for less than $500 if possible, please help me pick!!! Thanks in advance.

Got this from My local Oak furniture store customized to fit my center channel for a fraction of the price of Sony's stand.

I went with a more contemporary look and spent just $100 for two Kaxas stands from ikea. My main focus was staying as close to the height of the Sony stand as possible.

Try Tech Craft. They are the OEM manufacturer for Sony I believe. They make almost the same exact stand as the Sony for $299. I am very happy with my SWE50 stand for my GWIII 60".
