Which subwoofer is better?

I had an issue with my Denon DSW-76 subwoofer humming and upon talking to Denon they decided to send me a new subwoofer.  They sent me a Boston MCS-160 subwoofer.  Well, it turns out it isn't my subwoofer, all I had to do is install a ground loop isolator and that stopped the humming.  Now I have two subwoofers and I am not sending back the Boston because I do not want to pay shipping.  My question is; which one is a better sub in your guys opinion?  Should I stay with the Denon because it may be matched to the system or is the Boston one a better sub.  Any one know how much you could sell these for?  Thanks again.

If I was in your position, I would almost certainly keep both subs. Duals have distinct advantages...

hmmm, can you hook them in series or do you mean keep as a spare?

No he means run both subs at the same time Hence the X.2 setup a lot of home theaters run now.

My question is why did Denon send you a sub from another manufacturer? Also, if they sent you a new sub because your old one was (supposedly) defective, why on earth do they not want the old sub back??
