Ok I am new here and really like this site! I am in the market for a new tv. It will be hung on the wall to replace my Samsung LN40A530...I want at least a 52-55" and I want an awesome picture. I have your typical cable, xbox, and playstation 3 connected by hdmi so 1080p is a must. My budget is $2000 but I have no idea what I should go for. I have read about the LED TV's but it seems they have some issues. Any suggestions?

What about the LG 55LH40? How does that compare to the Samsung 650?

I like the LGs, but if the price is good for the B650, I'd rather do that. If the prices are normal, the LG is probably the better buy usually floats around 1299-1499, whereas the B650 is around $2000

OK I am down to two sets. I am looking at the LG 55LH40 or the Samsung 52LNB750. I have a couple questions though. Is the difference in price that much worth it? and I am running a Sony strdn1000 reciever and all of my components are hooked to it and one hdmi will be going to the tv. Will I notice the lip sync if there is any?

If there is lip synch, you will notice it. There's a reason C-Net called the B750 the best non-LED LCD on the market... because it is.

i like the specs but im not sure about the ultra clear panel..my room is very well lit and i am afraid there will be too much glare. I just got back from best buy where i seen both sets side by side. although the samsung has a great picture the panel seemed to have alot of reflection.

It does. I feel that is the one thing keeping Samsung from taking over the LCD Market hands down.

How did C-Net factor in viewing angle for the B750?

It is also worth noting that as of March 4th, 2010, C-Net has lowered its rating of the LN52B750 "because of changes in the competitive marketplace including the release of 2010 models. The review has not been otherwise modified."

Viewing angle for the B750 rates only Fair, compared to Very Good for:

LG55LH90

Toshiba 52ZV650U

Vizio VF550M

LG 55LH40

well alright then. I think I am going to go with the 55LH40 or 55LH55 depending on the deal I can get. One last question.....I bought one of those Sanus walla mounts that I guess only BB carries. Will that work for the LG 55 or will I need a new wall mount?
