I currently am using a Polk VM30 as a center channel because I got a smoking open box deal on it, but they only had one. It sounds fantastic currently with my hodgepodge 5.1 system with a Yamaha HTR-5590 in a really small living room. I'm about to move into a larger house with living room about 16x25 & am about invest in a pair of Polk monitor 70 series II for the fronts.

My question is: Would I be better served to keep using the VM30 as my center channel, or would I be better off getting the CS2 center channel?

Thank you in advance for your input.

cs2 (or equivalent cs20, 25c) all day every day to match the 70's!

That's what I was thinking, but not wanting to hear. Lol Thanks!

it doesnt mean the cs1 wont or cant work - its just better with the cs2.

I listen to mainly TV & movies, but also turn on the 6 channel mode & crank up the music & like it loud. Will I be happy using 4 series 70's for front and rear?
