White edges on HDTV widescreen CRT
Hey all,
I have a widescreen 30" HDTV from LG. On any source from any sort of input, in the center of the screen the blacks are much deeper and on the edges they are more gray. If any of you are familiar with sidelighting for portable devices, the effect is very similar to that. The problem is that in anything that's colorful and bright, the screen looks brilliant. But whenever you go to something darker, the center of the screen is mostly unviewable. Any idea what this could be?
