I have a 2 week old Sony STR-DA4300ES AVR and a Sony BDP-350 Blu-Ray player connected via HDMI. Both have worked fine for the two weeks. Last night I went into the speaker setup menu on the AVR and adjusted the size and crossover frequencies of my center and rear surrounds. Now I have a loud hiss, like white noise, coming through the speakers. The noise goes up as I increase the volume. My DVR, connected to the AVR via digital coax, does not make the same (or any) noise. Any ideas? I haven't found a discussion about this problem doing a search of the forums, other than one person with the same problem - but no solution.
