Looking to add a pair of floorstanding speakers in adjacent room (see pic)
Its rather large prob 16 W x 25 L

This will simply be to get some sound (movies/Music) in other room since my Florida room houses the Tekton Enzo's XL & Center.

here are a few im looking at

QA3050i 799/pr
JBL 180 $700/pr
Jamo S809 $440/pr

Accessories4Less
Kef Q700 $369 each (740/pr)
Canton GLE 490 $319 each ($638 pair)

Anybody hear these? Any other recommendations for White ones under 800??

They all look very nice aesthetically, Kefs, Canton's nicest, followed by QA, JBL

I don’t recommend the Arena 180’s unless they are on their huge sale. That would put them near $400/pr. I think @Zorba922 grabbed a pair of the 180’s a while ago, ask him what he thinks.
Thanks Russ....I forgot about that you're right. I'm gonna pass on those.

Geoff, do you know if they are 8ohm or 6 ohm? I'm seeing 2 different variables??

This brochure says 6ohm
https://www.qacoustics.com/media/manuals/AHE1998Conceptbrochure.pdf

The main page says 8ohm
https://www.qacoustics.com/floorstanding-speakers/concept-40-floorstanding-speaker-pair.html
Well, the review measured their impedance and deemed the Concept 40 and Concept 20 as nominal 4ohm speakers but I found the latter very easy to drive with my NAD 7250PE and my friend who runs them full range with a 15 year old AVR has zero issues driving them either and his AVR is stuffed in a cabinet with a door closed!

They found lowest impedance was 4.5 ohms/250hz and maximum impedance of 23ohms/1800hz.

They preferred them to the Dynaudio Emits and Canton Chronos so high praise indeed.

How did you conclude that they preferred them? I see 5 glowing reviews in that magazine. It actually looks like the rated the Emits higher.

Nice Form factor, WAF friendly, great sound and reasonably priced. Case closed!

Oh they are.

I was half right; they rated the Q Acoustics and Dynaudio as "outstanding 5 stars" and the Cantons, Wharfedales and Rosso Fiorentino's as "excellent 4 stars."

If you can stretch your budget just a little, I think Chane A5.4 is worth adding to your list.

EDIT: Nevermind. I missed the 'white' part. Sorry.
