Whites have a yellow tint on left half of screen?

1411 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  bob ross
Long story short I reset my Sony KP-57WS520 service menu a while back. TV never has seemed the same since but most things are back to normal.

One problem that continues to plague me is my "whites" seem to be more "yellow-ish" on the left side of my screen.

For example when watching Persepolis the camera pans and things move from right to left, they start out correctly white on the right side of the screen but as they hit the halfway mark of my screen, they become yellow tinted.

Is there a specific service menu item I can change to fix this?

Thanks,

BR

Lens Striping will help this.

you could make the entire image bluer.

Your problem is common on crt devices and considered to be normal by many.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have read up on the process. Although I didn't seem to have this problem before the "fatal service reset" so I though it would be an easy fix.

I didn't think of that, thanks.
