I have a 630 and couldn't be happier with it. I was all excited about the DLP sets when I saw them at CES and was the first one to post about them in this forum. I also ordered the Samsung 507 thru the powerbuy. But reading about all the issues with it in this forum and seeing one not work so good with NTSC signals I started the search and found the Elite 620 to be best. Thanks to a 30 exchange policy from the store where I bought it from, I now have a Pioneer 630.
Most cable channels and Dish channels look good to very good depending on material broadcast. Most of my viewing is analog broadcasts except for some of the prime shows broadcast in HD. I always had reservations about stretch modes to have a 4:3 material fill a16:9 screen. But after a few weeks I have gotten used to it as the stretch modes are decent. If your TV viewing involves mostly SD viewing the X30's can't be beat!
