Maybe (certainly the price remains VERY attractive) - although the loader problem is not the only thing plaguing the D1s.

The straw that broke the camel's back was when the loader would only remain open for less than 1 second, forcing me to lunge the disk at the loader and hope I got it in properly before the stinkin' thing snapped shut. |
Originally posted by David_Levin Have they said if the D2/D3 fixes the IR contention with Pioneer receivers? (my loader sometimes closes spontaneously too - not sure, but it might have started since the servo/fimware upgarde). |
Originally posted by Cain Bummer!! I hate to laugh at your problems, but the way you wrote that cracked me, up the mental image of you lunging for the the tray made me chuckle. |
Originally posted by MaxC I'll wait for the D3 with WM9. On that note, will this player be able to play T2 or does that DVD still require more video power/processor power than the D3 will have? I know that the DVD will not do 1080p on any HTPC lower than 3.0~2.6Ghz. |
