I am a proud owner of a Pioneer Elite Pro1130HD. As we all know Pioneer got out of the TV game, sadly. Since that time I haven't followed new sets except that it seems that Samsung LCDs have become the go-to sets.
Anyway, what I was wondering was who inherited Pioneer's technology? I thought I read somewhere that Panasonic actually bought the rights to the tech for the plasma sets, including the KUROs. However, I just saw that the "Elite" brand name is now being used by Sharp for its new line of LCDs.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
