Who regrets making a blind buy?

I know this subject has come up before but I'm speaking strictly about the quality of the movie; disregard PQ/AQ. Who has made a blind buy and ended up being disappointed with the movie itself. I know I'll get alot of heat for this but my biggest regret so far has been Blade Runner. The movie was sort of a bore fest. The replicants weren't all that intimidating either. I didn't understand why the humans were so afraid of them. Just my two cents. What other movies were disappointments?

Like I said it's just my opinion. I just wasn't impressed with that film.

I am torn on Eastern Promises, I was really looking forward to this release, I watched it and couldn't help but feel underwhelmed.

I haven't watched Eastern Promises yet, but if it's anything like History of Violence, which I heard it was, then I'm in.

CRANK = Biggest Disappointment. Luckily sold to a buyer in the U.K for $18.

Yeah I dodged a bullet with that movie. I was at my sister's house and she had rented it. After watching it we would have liked those 90 or so minutes back.

Full Metal Jacket -- not great PQ
Eastern Promises and The Contract -- so so movies (flames off--EP was leagues better than The Contract)

Nature's Journey -- err... see comments and posts in other parts of AVS

Ironically adult HD DVD's are the easiest to rent ($3-$4 for two days at a local shop)--so no blind buying unlike waiting until the cows come home for Netflix.

Shrek 3 totally sucked in terms of story line. PQ was top notch but the movie was horrible.

I think the biggest blind buy I ever bought which ended in disappointment was Smokin' Aces. /comicboy Worst.... buy.... ever...!

Smokin Aces. I didn't even finish watching it. Luckily my buddy wanted to buy it so he bought it from me.

It'd have to be a tie between Full Metal Jacket($13.99) and Dukes of Hazzard(free). Hated them both to no end.

I'll second this notion. It really is a bad movie. Im very happy there is an Ebay.
