Why are Fujitsu's so hard to find on the net

Do they frown on internet dealers? So does Pioneers but their displays are everywhere. Also the Fujitsu's don't seem to sell much less than MSRP

They do frown on internet dealers, and want their sets only sold by dealers who can service them.

When you do find one on the net, it is usually a non-USA model, and comes with no warranty.

When you buy from a local dealer it comes with a 3 year warranty and a high level of customer service.
I suggest you read the warranty pdf from www.plasmavision.com for more information. Pioneer has two divisions - they are completely seperate from one another. The Elite line is a little more tightly controlled. Pioneer uses many distributors to move product, thus allowing internet companies to gain access to them. Many of the Internet companies don't even have wharehouses, they just drop ship the product from their distributors.
With careful shopping, you can get about 15% off of MSRP.
