Why are the Warm temps not available on Sony 32" Bravia XBR when using HDMI connectio

After connecting satellite receiver via HDMI, i brought up settings as i wanted to set temp to Warm 1 but only Normal and Cool are available with HDMI hookup. Why is this? Because i wasn't able to select Warm 1, i had to connect the receiver via component which allows the Warm setting.
