Hi everyone,
This is an issue I've been having with my Denon 4400H. Every time I watch a bluray or Netflix etc, Ill see that the encoded audio is DTS-HD MSTR or Dolby Digital Plus etc but it will always default to something like "Dolby Digital Plus + Dolby Surround" or 'DTS-HD MSTR + Neural X"?
I'm rocking a 3.1 system. The receiver knows I don't have any surround or height speakers (Ive doubled checked in speaker setup).
In the amp settings I've got it set to 9.1 but I've tried 7.1 v+ biamp, and all the other options to see if it would stop automatically adding the surround modes.
Is there any solution to this? I swear this happens almost anytime I play audio.
