Is there a reason why BZ chooses to transmit in this way rather than just transmitting 4:3 like WCVB? The latest version of the Dish 6000 software detects the aspect and will not apply stretch modes to a 16:9 frame. This allows easy switching between HD and SD channels but since some channels do 4:3 as HD (16:9) it can't detect this and assumes its HD.
