I'm about 8 to 10 miles from the esb, pick up all nyc dt channels except 13.1.I'm even able to pull in most of the Philly stations which are about 75 miles away.My equipment is, cm4228 on rotor, Blake jbx21 also on a rotor. Whats up with wnet?

I believe they've got their antenna pointed to NJ.

Thats incredible , why would they not service the 5 boroughs?

Because legally WNET is a Newark station. They are obligated to serve NJ first. BTW, they're not on ESB.

Tuners may register 13 but isn't this UHF 61? I've found I have to tap in channel settings at times rather than scan. BTW, I can't pick up WNET-DT either about 12 blocks directly across Manhattan from their 33rd St. site. It's weak as well as beamed at Newark. I get it, with their PBS Kids subchannel, though, via Time Warner Cable. Believe an address entry at antennaweb.org will show other area PBS options. -- John
