Why is it...?
Why is it that HBO does the best transfers ever to some of the crappiest movies- i.e. The Salton Sea-and some of the best movie-i.e. The Fifth Element-don't even get the HD treatment at all? Anyone care to comment?...Anyone?...Beuller?...Beuller?

HBO does HD film transfers for most of their movies. The Fifth Element was in HD on HBO years ago. The recent SD showing was probably a screw up of some kind. I bet it gets rescheduled again soon, and shows up in HD.
