So I have an LG 42pw350 hooked up to my htpc with the Sandy Bridge core i3-2100 via 1.4hdmi. But the TV is only giving me the option to convert 2d to 3d, and all the other 3d options (like SBS, etc) are greyed out. What am I missing here? I downloaded the latest Intel graphics drivers. Please help! I just spent all this money rebuilding my HTPC for 3d, and it doesn't even work. Grrrr.

When watching SBS movies the tv does not detect that the content is 3d, it has to be switched manually. Since you can't do that I would suggest reading the manual on how to do that.

Unfortunately my manual doesn't have a section on why SBS (or any other 3d option) is not an option from my 3d htpc

Once you switched ports did the tv recognize a 3d movie, if so it wasn't SBS.

The TV didn't recognize it and automatically switch, but it enabled me to select different 3d modes, whereas previously those options were greyed out.
