Don't want to sound like a smart aleck, but could it be because you just woke up. Also morning programming tends to be brighter; Sunrise Earth on Discovery HD, Sports Center on Espn HD...etc.

Why my PQ is much better in the morning
I noticed that Picture Quality from Comcast HD and DVD from HTPC displayed via a DLP Sharp 12K front projector are much cleaner in the morning than evening. Have any of you experienced this and what do I need to do in order to eliminate this problem. By the way, all my HT equipment were connected to a Power Conditioner.
