Why? WHY? WHY?!! Sanyo PLV-70 probs

This beast of a machine will do tonnes of modes when it connected via analogue VGA, but when connected via DVI-D, will only do 640x480, 800x600, or 1024x768. As the native res of the projector is 1366x768 this is a bit annoying! Anyone know a way around it? How can I stop it "telling" Windows its accepted modes? Why are they limited in this way?

Cheers,

Tony

you need to install a program called powerstrip and set up a custom monitor driver for the projector and then you will be able to create a resolution of 1360x768 to project.... In this thread you will find what the settings are for powerstrip http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...hreadid=188507
